From the main forest drive there are lots of short walks signed to various points of interest. This includes views over Lower Lough Erne, and on a clear day the Sperrin Mountains and the west coast of Donegal. Lough Navar Forest is part of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark.

From the car park at Meenameen Lough follow the gravel paths, rough forest tracks and tarmac around the forest clockwise for 7 miles. The road is steep in places. There are many points of interest within the forest. This includes lakes, viewpoints and places of historical interest. This is a stunning forest with a variety of landscapes and lots of things to see.

Road Directions

From Enniskillen take the A46 to Derrygonnelly and then follow the signs for the 'Forest Drive'. On entering Lough Navar Forest Park drive up towards the view point and then continue on round the drive until a sign to Lough Meenanem is reached. Turn down this track and drive to the car park at the end.
